I like this product because it makes a bold line without hurting the delicate skin of one's eyelids. It does need frequent sharpening, but I've found that Revlon's Universal Points Sharpener works very well.

If you could sharpen this eyeliner, it would be very good (not excellent though). It resembles the Urban Decay 24/7 soft liners in its smooth feel. Like those, it is not as long-lasting as promised: It fades and smudges under your eyes. In my experience soft eyeliners never last well, even if they claim to be waterproof. Sharpening is a disaster. It never gets sharp, so you cannot do a fine line. It also leaves jagged, sharp wood around the tip that can be quite painful. Eventually the wood does not actually rest against the liner up to hold it steady, and so the liner breaks off. I bought the Urban Decay sharpener to see if it would work better than my existing one that simply mangled the tip. While it was an improvement, even that sharpener could not make it sharp, nor did it smooth out the wood. (This sharpener is needed for Urban Decay liners.)
Pros: It goes on smoothly and blends well. I had the grey, it is a really nice, dark color. It's hard to get dark grey liners, so I really wish this had worked.

I wanted to try this product. The color sounds perfect and I like the smudging ability. But l'Oreal still does some animal testing, and I will continue to boycott until they stop.

the concept of this eyeliner is great, but after a week when you need to sharpen it - forget it. I contacted the company and was told that a high quality sharpener would work - WRONG. I have tried two or three good sharpeners and none of them work without breaking the point and leaving me with just wood. Won't buy this again until they make a sharpener to use with it.

This is a great eyeliner but has one huge problem. I haven't found a way to sharpen it. I use a traditional sharpener and it just eats the liner with no point. Loreal needs to sell a sharpener like they do with the huge jumbo eyeliner. At almost $10, this eyeliner really only works well when it is first opened and used only a few times.

Pretty good loner, not the best I've used but not the worst. Really waxy and "melty" so be careful when apply it. I was looking for a liner that was dark but not black. I found this in gray which is a great shade for me. Other liners have gray shades but the shade was too light. This goes well with my brown eyes without making me look like a racoon.
Application Tips: Apply along lash line starting from inner corners of eye working outwards. For a smokey look, gently smudge line with finger or brush applicator. Removes easily with soap and water or with Clean Artiste Waterproof and Long wearing Eye Makeup Remover.
