I've been searching for eyeliner that does NOT smudge throughout the day. Previous eyeliners that I used smudged when I closed my eyes but not this one! I tried blinking super hard to see if it rubbed off onto my bottom lids, but it did not! Not only that, but the application was easy, considering that this is my first time using a liquid eyeliner. (But I did need to use another brush to blend or spread the liquid and create a desired line) This did not flake, smudge, run, etc for me all throughout the day. And it didn't irritate my eyes. (Wore it for 12 hours) This is my go-to eyeliner now. Yay.

The only good about this liner is that it is super black in color and the brush wand is perfect for getting a thin line. Other than that I am very very disappointed with this liner. Its super shiny even after it dries.... appears as if you are wearing eyeliner which is still wet. I dont like it at all. The wet effect takes away the defining effect of this liner to a large extent. Secondly it flakes like crazy. Half of the liner (especially around the inner corners of the eyes) flakes off within few hours of wear and makes your eyes look half lined and half naked...horrible. To add to the woes the flakes collect in the undereye area and stick there in bits n pieces. I have tried lining my eyes with a pencil liner and then applying the liquid liner on top of it (to make it long wearing)....it worked with my other liner (revlon) but this one fails with that too. I dont know about the other colors if they have the same problem too but I certainly dont recommend the carbon black to anyone. NOT AT ALL. Total waste of money.
