This product allows my hair to stay smooth even in Florida humidity. I was very impressed. Use only a very small amount or hair can become greasy.

Hair Type: Wavy Hair
I used the original Glossing Cream for a few years and LOVE it. It is the saving grace to my hair!! When I went to purchase a new bottle, I noticed this site no longer had it listed, but found this new Brilliant version. I must say, for me, the original was way better. I have thick, wavy hair (if I go to bed with it wet it turns into curl city). My routine: I use my flat iron then apply the glossing cream. It used to make it shiny, super smooth, and keep it straight without frizzies; even withstood decent humidity. This new "improvement" does add some shine, but seems to be a lot lighter (which some may prefer). I also tried using the same amount, with no luck. Had to use more of this product than the prior. But for me it just makes my hair want to wave back up a bit and leaves lots of flyaways, and being out in the humidity killed it. I hope Fekkai isn't getting rid of the original because that is the one I would return to purchase. Overall....... On its own: does a decent job at softening, adds some shine, light weight, has a nice light scent. Compared: for those with more difficult hair, the original is better.
