Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks everyday, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
Sore Throat Warning: Severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat that occurs with high fever, headache, rash, nausea, and vomiting may be serious. Ask a doctor right away. Do not use more than 2 days or give to children under 12 years of age unless directed by a doctor.
Do not use
- if you are on a sodium-restricted diet
- if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for two weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
- with any other acetaminophen containing products. This may lead to an overdose, which may cause liver damage (see overdose warning).
Ask a doctor before use if you have
- glaucoma
- breathing problems
- chronic bronchitis
- trouble urinating due to enlarged prostate gland
- persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus)
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers
When using this product
- do not use more than directed (see overdose warning)
- excitability may occur, especially in children
- marked drowsiness may occur
- avoid alcoholic drinks
- be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery
- alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness
Stop use and ask a doctor if
- you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless
- pain or cough gets worse or lasts more than 7 days
- redness or swelling is present
- fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days
- new symptoms occur
- cough comes back or occurs with rash or headache that lasts.
These could be signs of a serious condition
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.

Overdose Warning: Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) could cause serious health problems, including liver damage. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
