I purchased Kaboom with Oxiclean after seeing commercials about the ease of cleaning. I have a sandstone-like textured tile bathroom, and our city water turns everything orangish-pink. I thought this might help, especially since I have 4 children and feel I spend too much time cleaning.

Unfortunately, my bathroom is small. So prior to using this, I fully opened the window and the door to ensure proper ventilation. No such luck. The fumes were so heavy, I feel as if I've literally burned my nose hairs. I escaped to write this review and so haven't checked to see if there are any left. My nose is red, though. I don't have allergies, I'm not prone to respiratory afflictions, but this cleaner was too much for ME. Also, this is coming from someone who lived in Hawaii for years with the constant VOG, and never had much of an issue breathing there. Even driving through wildfire smoke yesterday didn't hurt like this.

This product did clean, though not as well as the advertisements. And with the irritation now spreading into my throat and eyes, I would say stick with the "magic" eraser type sponges. They will work just as well if not better, may leave little white sponge chunks in your tub, but will leave you able to breathe. Any elbow grease would be worth it to avoid this nonsense.

This cleaner is so easy to use. It cleaned my shower that is always stained by hard water and we have tried every cleaner out there. This required much less "elbow grease" to get a much cleaner shower. Some of the really set in stains took multiple coats, but are much better than other cleaners. I was concerned by smells after reading the other reviews, but it's really not that bad.

This works well and it has a fun element....the foam changes color when it's ready to be wiped up. So my son "loves" it....quote-unquote. And it gets him to do his jobs with less nagging. Manly, yes, but I like it too...
