My skin dried and flaked and the skin behind my ears split and became sore and inflamed. My dermatologist recommended Free and Clear and I am no longer having any of the problems I was having before. VS Most Liked Negative Review didn't work Product is a bit drying for my face. As for my daughter's back and chest acne, it didn't work, the DHS shampoo works better for this purpose (as bodywash). Cons Best Uses Comments about Free & Clear Liquid Cleanser, For Sensitive Skin, 8 fl oz: Pump top is a bit stiff, but very easy to get a tiny pea-sized amount with no drips. A tiny bit was all that was needed for my face even though I have hard water. I only used more if I had put cream or oil on my cheeks. A couple squirts mixed with aloe vera gel makes a good clarifying shampoo. After 5 months of daily use, it started to get a chemical smell and sting my eyes, so I used up the rest as a body wash. My new #1 favorite is CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? I LOVE this cleanser for my face, though I don't feel like it does as good for my entire body. I follow my face washing with toner in the morning or an intensive night cream in the evening, otherwise my face does get a little dry. I am perfectly pleased with this for my face! My sister in law lives near the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and sent me some of this face wash. It is oil free and frangrance free and washes clean without leaving a soapy residue. It is great! This cleanser cleansed my face without irritation which helped to facilitate the healing process. Within a week applying my prescription and using this twice a day, I saw a noticeable difference.
