When I first bought these, my hair just barely reached my shoulders so I almost didn't have enough hair to roll because these are huge.

I have thick hair so I have to leave them in overnight and sleeping with them in wasn't too bad. I have definitely endured worse.

I did get the volume I was looking for without a lot of curl.

My hair is medium length and thin. I used less hair then more hair and it didn't help them stay put nor did I get any volume or lift. Had to wash hair to get waves/crimps out.

Good when you want volume in your hair. They are soft enough to sleep in and since my hair is so hard to curl I have to keep these in a long time.

Do not try to use these if you have thick hair. They fall out or flop if over-taxed, and your hair will never dry, as the foam holds water. Basically, a very flimsy product.

I have very straight hair and the rollers add wave and volume without too much curl. Easy to roll. I haven't slept on them. The plastic case keeps rollers handy and neat.
