This is a great comb and it only cost a dollar and some change. It is very sturdy. The bristles are close together which makes it good for detangling and parting hair.

Love it. I use it to distribute conditioner throughout my hair while it the shower.

It doesn't scratch my scalp, nor does it get caught in my hair, or cause breakage *. Wide-ended handle doesn't slip out of my hand.

I keep it in the shower, and haven't seen any mildew or soap scum build-up.

* I am Caucasian, with mildly wavy, medium weight hair, down to my shoulders. Black hair, bleached and dyed.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
