This comb is much larger than it appears and teeth are very wide. Not what I was looking for. For extremely thick hair.

I ordered this product for my blind girlfriend who has natural coily, curly hair. Oh and it is THHHHIIIICCKKK. She says the handle grip is superb, and detangling is now with ease. Says the comb is just perfect. She claims this is the best comb by far!!! She is 63 years young and has now thrown out her other trusty combs of 20 plus years. Thanks Conair. ha! LOL!

The teeth are sharp but this helps to get through my hair quickly. I have long hair and this detangles it within just a couple of minutes. Far more easily with less stress on my hair than a wooden comb. Love this comb!!

I couldn't find another handle-less wide-toothed comb to replace the one I lost, so I gave this one a try. It is strong and sturdy and does the job, and is a great value. However, the tines are a bit pointy and "sharp."

This comb is incredible at detangling long hair. I used to use a carved wood comb because it is supposed to be more gentle but even though it was perfectly smooth and had rounded bristles my hair seemed to be difficult to detangle. Using this Conair comb I can comb through in a matter of maybe a minute. I have long hair and I just bring my hair over to one side and then comb through the ends first.

I would advise not combing directly on the scalp because the teeth are pointy, but this helps to detangle your hair more quickly. You can comb the hair closer to your scalp by combing almost parallel to your scalp not pointing the teeth of the comb at it, if that makes sense. I VERY HIGHLY recommend this comb!

I have thick curly hair that I always set usually after I get out of the shower or when its straight I just want to run a comb through quickly. its plastic but holds pretty well with my hair which is saying a lot since some plastic accessories bend or break easily when I use them. Its good for in shower or on the go needs.

This is a great wide tooth comb to use when hair is wet or if you have thick hair. I use it so the comb to minimize any damage to my hair.
