For the past 3 years, I bought 3 Conair Air Brush each year, they all went dead after one year. The products still look like new but all of a sudden I just couldn't switch them on. I recently bought another one, I only used it 3 times and the low heat setting is gone, can only use the high heat now. This product does not deserve even one star. I will recommend people NOT buying at all.

I have been using the basic Conair hot air brush for many years, so when I saw this product, I knew I had to try it. I was actually excited to use it. But it's too bulky and quite heavy to hold steady and properly use. The design creates an issue with the setting button. If your finger slips at all, the button moves. The handle is too wide, so it's not easy to hold and style at the same time. I gave up after three times and went back to my faithful, basic Conair hot air brush. So, you might ask, does it actually work? Yes, it does effectively smooth frizz and create a shinier finish, but the work to get there isn't worth it. The company should have simply updated the barrel of the standard hot air brush and not done any of the other design changes. Boo!

This hot air brush works fine to give the hair body, but I would not recommend it as it has a very short shelf life. Usually I get about a year. While the motor is still fine, the plastic falls apart so that the brush will not longer attach to the dryer. The last one I got fell apart in less than three months!!!

It works just as a blow dryer but you have more control. I have thin hair, maybe that's why it was not amazing with my hair

I like the way it smooths out the hair and makes it shine. It is a little hard for me to hold as the handle is very thick and my fingers keep hitting the switch and turning it off..But otherwise is a handy tool.

This tool is made for women who do not know how to blow dry their hair. I don't have the inclination to learn nor do I have the patience (or time). It drys the hair quickly and gives it a nice style. Also, you can't beat the price for the quality.

I'm glad that I read the reviews and bought the top of the line aircomb. I no longer need to use extra gels and products as the frizz went away immediately.

This is a great styling tool as well as a super fast dryer. I have long, thick, wavy Indian hair with a lot of texture. It usually takes me 30-40 minutes to dry my hair at the hottest setting, and it will still have a little moisture in it. I stopped drying my hair a few years ago because I feel my hearing has been damaged from blow drying my hair 40 minutes every other day for 20+ years, plus I don't have the patience for doing that anymore.

I recently got my hair styled with layers and now have bangs (love them!). Problem is I got the hair gene, but didn't get the hairstyling gene - really, I'm a klutz to "styling"! I had to take a photo of my new cut when I got home to use as reference! LOL

I was having trouble using my old pistol-style dryer to straighten out my hair using brushes. I constantly had to put the dryer down, get a section of hair...the dryer got heavy...etc. Even with a getting a lot of hair cut off, it still took way to long for my attention span. I didn't want to use straightening irons because I still had to use a dryer first! And they they make me nervous! I was even thinking of getting my hair straightened.

I've been using this airbrush for about 2 weeks and I LOVE IT! It's my brush, dryer, and a straighening iron. I put my products in, make a few sections, and start drying! It's a lot like just brushing my hair; and it's been drying faster, the texture is smooth and I'm done in styling in 15 minutes. Luv it!

I use the the larger brush attachment to start with - it has good tension to help straighten hair and ceramic plating that can get pretty hot, be careful not to touch, it will burn finger tips. But the stiff bristles keep it off your scalp. The smaller boar bristle brush is great for my bangs. I don't use the nozzle attachment much cause the dryer/brushes work great. - These won't get your hair super stick straight, but it will smooth out curly and very wavy hair beautifully.

The only down sides are it doesn't have a cool shot button, but I can get by without it and the slider on-switch is easy to inadvertently turn off while you are using the brush, but it's just as easy to turn back on. Not a big deal. I would give this 5 stars if it did have a cold shot, but I highly recommend this!
