I am 51. I don't dye my hair because for some strange reason, I don't have even one gray hair (yet). What I do have is fine, very curly hair that I brutalize on a daily basis by pulling it straight and then flat-ironing it. After using this shampoo, it's relatively easy to get my hair smooth and straight, yet still retain a silky, shiny, bouncy, full-of-body result. It's expensive, but it is so worth it.

This shampoo and conditioner duo is amazing. I abuse my hair everyday - its color treated, I blow dry and flat iron - and it has started to show. I have been trying other product lines for dry, brittle, damaged hair and this is by far the best. The shampoo is gentle, smells great and thoroughly cleanses my hair without sulfates and nasty paraben preservatives. The conditioner is by far the best conditioner I have ever used. Bye bye leave in conditioner! The Alterna conditioner eliminates the need for my leave-in treatment. The comb slides through my hair with ease. I notice my hair dries faster and is much smoother with fewer flyaways. I am in love with these products. Well worth the price - this set is an excellent value compared to the products purchased individually.
