Drugstore.com has a great price on this product. We have "hard water" where we live, so I use these caps to supplement my hair washing in the shower. It even works with dyed hair. Just heat it up for 15 seconds in the microwave, put hair in cap, leave on 15-20 and scrub hair in cap before removing. Great for recoveries, vacations or just convenience if in a hurry.

I have used this product on my 91 year old mother's hair for over a year, every week, and it has worked fine. The suds from the cap clean the hair, and the suds are easily absorbed by a towel. It is wonderful to use on patients who can no longer use a bathtub or shampoo bowl.

I use these on occasion for my husband (at a nursing home). They work great on men, I can't say how they work on women.
They are effective, and are not drying on the scalp.

I got this product for my g/f who is recovering in a nursing home from a hospital stay for COPD. They used them in the hospital and she loved them. They are very good for the home bound and those that can't tolerate strong odors while washing their hair. They are great because you don't have to add water or anything, just put the cap on and it does the rest. It leaves your hair feeling nice and clean. Most of all, it is easy for her to use.

They used these caps on me in the hospital when I had surgery. I purchased these caps now for my 94 year old mother-in-law that lives alone. It makes shampooing her hair very easy.

my mom is not able to shower. this is great. you just heat it up in the microwave, 15 seconds is really all it took. as a matter of fact, it was still a little to warm, so we waited before applying. she has very short hair. it lathered nicely. i think it was user error on my part, because the back was more saturated then the front. once finished, i toweled the excess off and styled as usual. no odor, no residue. she loved it.
