Used this product while deployed to Afghanistan and it could have been the hard water that effected it. Will give it a try back in the U.S. before I give it a total hit or miss. The environment didn't effect the "white" Dove bar like it did the "Shea Butter" though.

This is by far the best soap I've found. It suds up and rinses off perfectly and leaves my skin feeling clean and moisturized. The smell is heavenly. It is also good for sensitive skin as other soaps made my skin dry and feeling terrible.

They stopped selling it here. We can't find it anywhere. Did you stop making it? My son uses it because he has really bad oilly skin and that's the only thing that helps. I have psorisis and I can't use anything else but Dove. Tell where we can fin this one here in Michigan. I think it's the shea butter that helps. Love all your soaps though.

Where do I begin??? As we get older, we know that we can't use the products we used in high school. Being thirty something.. my skin is extremely dry and super sensitive. I saw the commercial on Dove Shea Butter. Never used Dove but I love Shea butter. So I bought it.. and I'm in love with it. My skin has never been softer, smooth, and ASH free LOL!! And the scent is wonderful... I'm stocking up!!!

I have sensitive skin that tends to breakout frequently and get really dry, so you can imagine that I have been on the hunt for a decent bar of soap that won't cause my skin to break out or dry out. I have never been a fan of liquid body washes, they never fail to leave residues and cause my skin to break out. Before I bought this product I had been using Dial White Anti-Bacterial Soap Bar, and though I didn't "hate" it, I didn't want to be covering my skin in an "Anti-Bacterial" chemical that I knew wouldn't be good for my overall immune system in the long run. So I decided to switch. I did a little research and decided to try out this hyped up Dove soap. To my amazement, all the hype about Dove soaps really is on their game. Some way, Somehow Dove has managed to put a luxurious lather, terrific clean, subtle moisture, and a lovely smell in a small little soap bar that doesn't cause me to breakout! It is heaven. I also use Dove Cream Oil Shea Butter Body Lotion after my showers and I get super smooth skin every time. THANK YOU DOVE!

The only negative I found is that you can't get rid of the suds; the soap really makes a lot of suds.

As a male in Upstate NY, moisturizing soaps are essential in the winters. I tried Dove's Winter Care, but it left my skin beyond dry.
I visited a local "Bath & Beauty" store to buy soap that will moisturize without me smelling too feminine; expensive? Yes, but I was more concerned about the soap, rather than the price. When I saw this on the shelf, I picked it up - I didn't need more soap at the time. Once I showered with this, the difference was noticed right away. My skin felt like skin that day. The price I paid for this is back to normal.
