My hair stylist recommended that I use a shampoo formulated for color treated blonde hair to keep the brassy notes to a minimum. She suggested the Aveda brand which I tried and wasn't impressed with. I switched to this and have been very happy with it. My hair is so soft after using this, and it has kept my blonde hair from getting brassy long after having it colored and toned. I have had the large bottle for 2-3 months and I have hardly used one-fourth of it, and I have long thick hair. Because it lasts so long, it is a great value. I definitely recommend this product to everyone.

shampoo and conditioner work well together. Leaves my hairfeeling soft. The smell is really nice - grapefruit I think. It doesn't stay smelling in your hair, only in the shower. May be a bit pricy - not sure it is much better than lower priced brands.

Been using this for four days now. My hair looks and feels clean, even on gym days when I roll out of bed and go without washing my hair until noon. I like the smell, and I also like that it does not weigh my hair down at all. I have baby fine, straight blonde hair, so many shampoos/conditioners leave my hair flat and/or dull, but not this one!

Other products do not compare. My hair loves this product and literally eats it via phagocytosis (ingestion of materials by cells, despite the fact that hair [composed primarily of keratin] is supposedly dead).

Ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) is a lightening agent. Citric acid (third most prevalent ingredient, in order of largest quantity, Ex: Aqua is the primary ingredient of most products, followed by some sort of alcohol [Myristral, Cetyl, Cetearyl, etc.]) helps to ligten hair whilst in the sunshine. Hydrolized silk amino acids and wheat protein strengthens hair. Polyquaternium helps hair to lie flat.

This is gentle enough to be used daily. I have yet to purchase the conditioner; however, I am encouraged to try the conditioner after such success with the shampoo.

I find that an initial wash, followed by a subsequent lathering allowed to remain for a number of minutes works most advantageously.

Worth the price.

My hair loves this product. I find an initial wash followed by a subsequent wash during which the shampoo is left in the hair for a number of minutes allows the vegetable proteins to really adhere to the hair fibre. I feel my hair eats it practically! The hair is definitely strengthened by this formula whilst simultaneoulsy being smoothed and cleansed. There is little need for conditioner, although I am considering it after such positive results. The best aspect about this shampoo that makes it a cut above the rest is the inclusion of the ingredients ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) [a lightening agent] and citric acid (the third most prevalent ingredient) which further's a blonde's quest for brilliance when basking in the sunlight. This product is unrivaled.

If you're a blonde, this is the shampoo for you. It smells SO great and I've been using it forever. I have very fine, thin, and straight hair, and it doesn't weigh it down at all. I'm sure it's fine for all hair types if you want to keep your blond from becoming brassy or losing its color.
