Other saniztizers can be overpowering and smell perfumy, making it difficult to want to handle food afterwards because you are afraid to get that taste in your mouth. Nicer than a pharmacy brand aesthetically. Scent isn't as medicinal and sterile--scent does fade quickly. The top seems solid--I'd say I like it better than a screw on/off as those have spillage issues. No problems yet. It doesn't seem to dry out my hands and fits really nicely in my purse, so I have it most all the time. It smells great. It is suppose to kill germs and I hope that it is doing that as well. To me it was much too strong and NOT pleasant...so much so that I couldn't enjoy my food after applying this to my hands. Not much of a rosemary nor mint smell...just like a strong herbal smell gone wrong. I tried it a couple more times but finally had to trash it, just couldn't stand it. Since then I bought him another one for his office and several travel size for our summer vacation road trip. I have 2 boys and it is a nice scent for everyone. I had to buy the travel size because this is the best alcohol-based sanitizer I've ever used. It has a lovely scent and doesn't dry out my hands. It is lightly scented (not over-powering) which is a good thing, as I don't like heavily scented products. In addition, it does not dry out my hands.
