Have tried MANY other hairball gels and Nutri Vet chicken and salmon are the only kinds that my cat will eat twice daily willingly. I use one tube until it's gone than switch to the other flavor so she doesn't get tired of three of the same tubes for a few months straight. She has licked it off a clean vinyl floor but prefers to lick off my index finger. To cut down on handwashing and drying my skin out I give her the gel, than scoop litter box and use restroom myself before bed, than wash my hands one time for 3 things. Repeat the process about every 12 hours morning and night.

I order 3 of each so the order will get free shipping and thats good for about six months. Plus I have to brush her regularly. She only has medium hair but wow does she have horrible hairballs like I have never seen from similar cats. Have also tried butter cause thats cheap and she barely tried, loves fish but that can get expensive quick. Of course tuna is cheap but even humans shouldn't eat much due to mercury, even if it is a reduced amount of mercury so there's no way I'll feed my cat tuna twice daily. Had her since 1.5 months as a stray and she's almost 7 yrs thats way to much tuna for a little 7lb furball.

My kitty needs hairball gel everyday because she has long fur and takes medication that makes her constipated. This paw-gel keeps her regular and she really likes it. I put some on a plate and she licks it off. She is picky about some brands but the plate is always clean after I give her this kind. I just wish they sold it in a larger size because it only lasts a couple of weeks before its gone because she has to eat so much of it.

My cats enthusiastically eat this Paw-gel! I just squeeze some out the top of the tube and they go for it. To be fair, one of my cats eats anything, but the other is so annoyingly finicky and she gobbles this product up-a true testament of it's yumminess! Seemingly, it is also very effective at helping them pass the hairballs and not throw them up all over my carpet-ewww!

I've bought several hairball remedies for my aging kitty over the last few years when she started having problems with her hairballs. She's not been a fan of any of them till now. She loves this stuff. Licking it off her paw will send her straight into a grooming session and cause her to look for more. She will also lick it right off my finger till there is none left or will try to lick it off the tube if I show it to her.

Not only am I happy that she likes this one, but I am happy that it has a nice clean consistency and does not feel like I am putting grease on my finger to feed to her.

This gel contains too much oil which flows
from a tube all over your fingers, while the gel
itself does not hold the shape, which makes it
almost impossible to put it into the cat's mouth.
Keeping the tube refrigerated does not help since
the oil still flows out and the gel gets very cold.
Cats don't like it.

My cats love this stuff, and it works with the hairballs. I have one short-haired and one long-haired cat and since they have started taking it, I really haven't noticed any hairballs lately. No throwing up and no coughing. It's easy to give to them, and they enjoy the taste. The smell isn't the greatest, but hey, it works!

I used to struggle with my long haired cat. She would not lick off other types of hair ball products and I would have to force it down her throat. Then I discovered Nutri-Vet and what a God send. She relishes it and licks it right off my finger. She has very bad problem with hair balls because of excessive long hair she ingests. This product has relieved her distressful incidents from frequent to rarely. For her, she takes it every day. Go slow with amount given and increase slowly as needed to avoid loose stools.

Our rescue cat has always had digestive problems. Most hairball remedies were rejected over the years. This one is appealing enough that we don't even have to administer it to a paw. The cat eats it from a dish. It has helped reduce regurgitation issues.

I didn't pay too much attention to the negative reviews, because my cat's all time favorite flavor is chicken liver -- in fact, I was happy to see a hairball product with this flavor.

MY CAT WILL NOT GET WITHIN 2 INCHES OF THIS STUFF. BUYER BEWARE. WHAT WITH ALL OF THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS, I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THIS PRODUCT IS STILL BEING SOLD HERE. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
