This does really work for inflammed tendons. However, it is poorly made and wears out pretty quickly. I continue to buy this because it does a lot for pain. I wish it were more durable.

I got this due to a bout of chronic pain in my plantar fascia. It has worked very well. Before I got this I could barely stand in the morning, but now after a few steps in the morning I am good to go. Only drawback is that it is a little bulky and takes a night or two to get used to until you can sleep comfortably in it. On the positive side, it is built more ruggedly than other night braces I've seen at this price and will likely have a longer useful life.

For Cold Therapy: Place Sealed Ice® Pack in freezer or refrigerator for 1 - 2 hours.

Remove Sealed ice® pack from freezer or refrigerator and place in boot liner to cradle heel area.
While sitting, place heel as far back on Sealed Ice® pack as possible.
Do not use for more than 20 minutes in one application period.

Reminder: Remove Sealed Ice® pack before sleeping.
