We are old-fashioned bar soap users, but many of our dinner guests and friends who use the powder room in our home are younger, and never have used bar soap, so we keep a bottle of liquid hand soap in there. We have tried several other liquid soaps that worked o.k., but all had synthetic chemical scents.

We bought this Out of Africa soap because its number one ingredient is unrefined shea butter, which has extraordinary healing and moisturizing properties for human skin. The bonus turned out to be that the lemon verbena scent is completely natural and un-chemical, and is MAH-velous, m'dear.

This is the best liquid soap that we ever have encountered.

This hand soap has a luxurious feel and a light lemony, slightly perfumey scent that does not annoy or distract or linger too long. Nor does it dry out my hands. I would describe this as a higher end hand soap. I am glad I purchased it!

Great fragrance and luxurious lather makes this an affordable way to pamper my hands. I will order more as gifts. I also like the idea of supporting programs for needy children with my purchase.

This is a wonderful smelling handsoap. I could just eat it almost because the smell is so great. However, it doesn't seem to last as long as I would like. Have even thought about trying it for bathing because it gives such a fresh and wonderful scent. I would definitely recommend it. It is a bit costly but seems to not need much at a time to wash your hands.

The scent of lemon is inextricably linked with clean and in the kitchen it mingles with the food smells in a wonderful harmony. I don't have to worry about getting some kind of floral smell on my fruits and vegetables as I handle them. I will never understand why anyone would want their food or dishes to smell of manmade perfume.
