We gave our dauhter her first bath right after her umbilical cord fell off, she was approximately one week old. After using Johnsons and Johnsons her skin was dried out and almost cracking. The same thing happened to my friend and she said her pediatrician reccommended Aveeno becaus it has way less alcohol and wouldn't dry out baby's skin. I did and noticed a difference right away. It's also produced by johnsons and Johnsons but is obviously MORE expensive.....typical. However I wouldn't be frugal when it comes to my infants care.
