They look nice and keep relatively good time, although they gain or lose over time. Daylight savings change does them in. I have thrown away 5 of these now, and will never buy another. Maybe they don't set themselves because I live in California.

Our clock set itself a couple of hours off at first. All we had to do was switch the setting on the back and it went right to the correct time. We love it. It is mounted with two small screws to the cardboard case. This kind of packaging isn't anything unusual and any screwdriver or even a butter knife will loosen the two small screws. If you read the directions you will be fine. Definitely a great buy. We plan to change of all the clocks in our house to this clock.

I used to rely on the radio in the am for work as my clock couldn't be trusted. This clock takes the worry out of being ready on time. Easy to clean and long battery life. I have purchased this item twice so far.

I would have returned this clock except i destroyed the packaging in an effort to remove the clock from it (note: you need to have a phillips screwdriver to remove it from the packaging). When I inserted the battery the clock set to the wrong time. There was no way to change it. I took the battery out and repeated the process again the next day and the clock set to 8pm (the wrong time) and then didn't work. I threw it out. I know it's supposed to set it's time from a radio signal, but maybe in a busy urban setting, like New York where i live, it just doesn't work.
