Between our two kids we've gone through far too many different child-proofing mechanisms. Most of them don't work, fall off, or take all of a day for my child to figure out. These magnetic locks are different. If you can manage to install them and are careful not to pull to hard to cause the adhesive to tear away from the cabinet. My children quickly gave up on even trying to get into the cabinets that had the locks ( but they also broke two that we didn't install so well). Ultimately I'd recommend them, just be prepared to install to perfectly if you want them to work- their is no room for error.

We have new kitchen cabinets and couldn't find anything to fit them for some reason... until these! They actually work better b/c the drawers don't open at all unless you use the key on the outside. The other drawer locks allow the drawer to open slightly, which makes it easy for little fingers to get caught inside. Wish we had gotten these for all of our cabinets and drawers in the beginning.

We have new kitchen drawers that we have had no luck finding baby locks for... until these!! My husband has tried all of them, and even fiddled with others to try to make them work. These are the only things that work! Just don't lose the lock, haha! Or buy an extra one. Thanks, Kidco and drugstore.com!
