This hair spray gives my hair perfect volume and hold without being wet, sticky, or leaving my hair stiff. Nothing else compares to this spray. It creates a rock solid hold and lasts all day without flaking or gooping up, even in the rain. However, it leaves the hair looking like it has been hairsprayed: that matte, dull coating. Also, I find the scent to be extremely strong: hours after I applied, I still kept catching whiffs of it. I don't want to look or smell like a 1960s beehive 'do, so while I will finish the can, I'll never buy again. Comments about Kenra Volume Super Hold Finishing Spray, 10 oz: I have my hair styled at a salon and they don't use this product so I have them just spray my hair lightly and then I can come home and spray my Kenra on my hair. This product holds so well with just a few sprays. I love it as my hair stays in place even during the night.

I've been using it ever since & haven't found anything better. Use sparingly, spritzing lightly over your style & you're good for the day. Even after a misty/rainy day, I just flip my head forward, lightly spritz my hair, flip back upright & use a pick to refresh volume & style before going out for the evening. Smells good, too!
