I have used this mascara for many years but in the past year I noticed that my eyes water frequently after applying this mascara. I bought a new one to see if it was just that one tube but it is not. I do not know if they changed the ingredients or why this is happening now.

It's OK. Easy to use and adds volume like it promises. However, it clumps because it dries so quickly.

This mascara does not clump for me! I love the texture because it's shiny and very wet compared to other thicker mascaras that dry quickly. It applies well and gives me volume and length. I have naturally long eyelashes so I look for volume and this works well. Not the best, but for the price it's ok. I didn't give it 5 Stars because although it's waterproof it takes a while to dry and if I blink while it's still wet, it smudges. A few hours later when I forgot and touched my eye it left me looking like a raccoon which I wouldn't expect from a waterproof mascara. Over all I think it looks great when I wear it, as long you remember to NOT touch your eyes.

The mascara has a smoothly silky conisistency, however it is not waterproof and it is difficult to remove which is a bad combination. The mascara doesn't come off completely with my Almay eye makeup remover pads, but when I wash my face it runs and then I have to use make remover pads again to clean up the remaining mascara.

I almost didn't buy this based on one of the reviews, but am glad I did. It's a good basic product - I wanted something that I could apply in the morning and wear through the day without it disappearing. In addition, I have allergies that often result is watery eyes. I didn't want to look like an owl by day's end! This product works for me.

Very disappointed in this product. The wand isn't angled properly - so basically you can only apply the mascara with the tip - if you try to use the whole brush you end up smashing lashes and getting clumps. By using just the tip you can't really apply a nice, thick, even coat - but rather it's skimpy and then very light at ends - it doesn't stay on all day because not much can be applied in first place. Poor product. One Good thing is that it doesn't irritate my eyes -which is something I do encounter with other brands of mascara. I usually use[*] - but tried Almay this time -- will return to [*]

I use this mascara almost every day. It's great for a simple, natural look. 2-3 coats is sufficient for coverage with this mascara.

I bought this product because I have sensitive eyes and Almay is known to exclude irritants from its ingredients. It didn't irritate my eyes, but it's so goopy and messy to apply. I ended up buying Korres mascara and love how evenly and neatly it applies.

I love this mascara! I wear contacts, and this waterproof mascara stays on even when my eyes water so I don't look like a raccoon! And yet, it still washes off easily with soap and water (or those nice cleansing cloths you just add water to) at the end of the day without tearing up your lashes! I've tried other mascaras and just keep coming back to this one!
