My husband and I have used Oral B brushes with compact heads for years--ever since our dentist recommended them. But lately we find the bristles fall out--from day one and they keep falling out. It's really annoying to end up with all that stuff in the foam and to have to pick it out because you don't want it to go down the drain. And for the price! This is not a cheap toothbrush. We're switching to GUM toothbrushes. Will see if they're better.

This brush does a great job removing plaque...taking care of the big stuff. Using this brush first helps cut down the time I have to spend brushing to remove any plaque forming. I follow up with electric toothbrush for buffing and details, especially with a splaying head at gum line.

okay, so I've had this toothbrush for a few days now & I have to say that I really like it so far. I've always used the Colgate 360 & liked it, until one time I went to my dentist & got a free Oral-B Complete Advantage toothbrush & just totally fell in love w/ it cause it's sooo much softer than the Colgate 360. however, I really missed the tongue cleaner on the 360, so I went back to the Colgate 360, but I couldn't really use it anymore cause the bristles were just too hard on my teeth. so I tried another Oral-B toothbrush w/ a tongue cleaner but that tongue cleaner didn't feel like it was even on my tongue! so I went back to the Colgate 360 but I, still, couldn't take the harshness of the bristles. so, finally, I got this Oral-B Advantage 3D White Vivid toothbrush & the first couple of times I used it, the tongue cleaner didn't feel like it was doing anything at all but now, as I use it more & more, it works a lot better. I think I just needed to get used to the way this tongue cleaner feels. but I love it! I hope they never stop making it especially because the bristles are the best...I've never felt another brand's bristles as soft as Oral-B's...ever! ntm, it gets all the way back in my mouth, which is great & it's great for when I'm really tired & don't feel like using my electronic toothbrush, plus it's great for travel because of that, too. don't be a fool...get this!
