I am caregiver for my handicapped brother who cannot swallow pills. He has to take additional calcium and multivitamins daily and I bought chewables; they are large and hard. Last year he had two molars extracted and couldn't chew the tablets whole, so I had to cut them up. That got old fast, so I started looking for alternatives. I wasted a lot of money on "gummies" that were rubbery and stiff. Then I found Li'L Critters children's calcium and loved them; they were PERFECT - soft, chewy and delicious [I even started taking them!!]. Of course, I had to increase the dosage to get to an adult level, so a bottle of 60 only lasted a week, and I had trouble finding them in stores. Then I stumbled upon the Vitafusion Calcium 500mg with Vitamin D Gummy Vitamins; some time later I saw the multi-vitamins and got some for my brother. He loved them, too. I never took vitamins - too much trouble to remember and I didn't think I needed them. Recently, though, a blood test indicated I was wrong and my doctor instructed me to start taking a multi-vitamin. Now we both are hooked, and I keepl my own bottle of Vitafusion Multi Vites by my bed. My new problem is: trying to remember that they are VITAMINS and limit myself to the prescribed dose!! Vitafusion rules at our house. I HIGHLY recommend both products!

The only problem was with the shipping. I ordered the product in August to be shipped to Texas which in 100+ weather they tend to melt. I was surprised the were just put in a box and sent with no gel pack or any type of refrigerant. When I got them, it was just one giant melted mess. Honestly, I would not order them again, I will just buy them at local store.
I'm someone that does not like to swallow pills, so these vitamins are the perfect alternative for me. I recently read an article that does indicate gummy vitamins are effective and they dissolve quickly so they are more readily absorbed in your system.
I have great difficulty taking vitamins; I hate to swallow pills so I just avoid them. I have several unused bottles on the shelf. I bought a bottle of these gummy vitamins in the store and then found them on Drugstore.com and set up the auto delivery. I bought a different brand and my daughter didn't like them so I went back to these ones. I remember almost every day to take them which is a great improvement. They don't taste bad, are easy to digest and they are just what I needed. The only problem is that they are all stuck together in the bottle and I have to pull them apart. I think that happened because of our heat wave and no air conditioning so they got very warm. I probably should have put them in the fridge.
Great vitamins,easy to chew,tastes good ,but I am in my eighties and cannot open the cap.I find it is very hard to open. I realize it is a safety cap for children,but isn't there someway you can keep it safe for children and make it easier for elderly people. Thank You..Jean W
