I get my hair colored regularly, highlights/lowlights/roots - with a lot of blonde processes, and this is the ONLY shampoo and conditioner set that soothes my hair EVERY time. I love this stuff, and you can't beat the price when I pay more than $25 each for the salon shampoos/conditioners.

I have tried several different brands of shampoo and conditioner for volume and fizziness. John Frieda so is far the best I have found for my hair. I noticed an immediate improvement in how my hair fixes and how it looks overall.

I have used the brunette moisturizing shampoo from them and it works much better to smooth hair than this. This had no smoothing quality and it actually made my hair staticky and frizzy. The only plus is the smell. won't be buying this again

The first day I used the shampoo, the results turned out to be great and I love the way it made my hair feel. There was no frizz and made it easy to style with my straightener. This is only day one, I look forward to many more washes! This is a great product and I did not mind paying the purchase price, it's all worth it!

This shampoo is terrible!!! I have curly shoulder length hair that tends to frizz. I thought this product would be great but it was just a waste of money. First off I am having trouble getting past the smell. It is way too perfumery!!! It does not lather well at all and did nothing to tame the frizz. In fact I have more frizz now than I did yesterday using my old products. Highly disappointed!!!

My hair is wavy and has a bit frizz. Tried this shampoo together with the Frizz-ease conditioner. I like the smell and it lathers well. My hair feels soft and clean. Very bouncy and smell nice. I am not sure if I can notice difference in regards to help on frizz, but a great shampoo for a good price. I really enjoy John Frieda hair products and this used in conjunction with the Smooth Start Conditioner, Repairing made my long hair smooth and healthy looking. I noticed a difference but not a ton since I had been using another set of Shampoo/Conditioner by John Frieda prior. I would suggest any of the products in his line. This new one is good, as I would expect from his products!

I have very wavy and (often) uncontrollable hair, and frizz is often a problem. This product, when used daily with the Frizz-Ease conditioner has worked extremely well in keeping my hair managable. But it must be used daily! The conditioner does not last more than a day. I wasn't sure what to expect from this shampoo. I have wavy hair that, to be honest, gets a little frizzy and nappy. I have a more expensive brand of smoothing shampoo that works okay, but not worth the $$ I shelled out for it.

This shampoo won't lather up a lot - but that's a good thing in my book - too many chemicals creating that lather. BUT, it has a very subtle scent, and left my hair clean.

I rarely hand out 5 starts - essentially the product(s) would have to give me Sandra Bullock hair for that :-)

I did use this shampoo in concert with the John Freida Frizz Ease Smooth Start Conditioner, and my hair did seem smoother. It was definitely softer, and I would have to give the pair a thumbs up over the more expensive brand I was using.
