A lot of conditioners really weigh it down, so I want seemingly the holy grail - a smoothing conditioner that protects, and adds volume. I noticed a difference but not a ton since I had been using another set of Shampoo/Conditioner by John Frieda prior. I would suggest any of the products in his line. This new one is good, as I would expect from his products! Reviewed by 17 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 6/3/2015 Not good for (my) fine hair Pros Cons

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Conditioner, Repairing, 10 fl oz: I had fallen in love with John Frieda's Full Repair conditioner, which always left my hair feeling soft, very easy to comb and not frizzy in the least bit. Unfortunatly, JF discontinued that line and I started searching for a replacement. Frizz-Ease seemed like it might be a good fit, but although it conditioned fine, the "frizz free" promise fell short by leaps and bounds. This is not close to the older product, I'll keep hunting.

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Conditioner, Repairing, 10 fl oz: I put this on after my shampoo. It allows me to let my hair dry naturally without blow drying. The frizz is eliminated. Great product for my hair.

Cons Best Uses Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Conditioner, Repairing, 10 fl oz: I've used the Frizz Ease Serum for a while, but it never worked that well for me until I used the shampoo and conditioner. I have wavy, frizzy hair and it is very difficult to tame the frizz. I use the shampoo and conditioner (I leave it in for a couple of minutes) and then use the serum on soaking wet hair right out of the shower. This really helps reduce the frizz when I blow dry it straight.

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Conditioner, Repairing, 10 fl oz: A year ago I was on the search for a new deep conditioner since my former favorite (Pantene) changed their line, and I hate it. This Frizz-Ease had some of the best reviews, and I was lucky that my local drugstore sold travel size versions of this so I could try it first. I really enjoyed the smell, and it was very smooth and coats my medium-thick hair well. When it rinses, my hair feels sooo soft and smooth. I didn't notice a miraculous improvement in my hair's health once dry; it's still lacking the shine my hair used to have and was hoping to get back, but I bought the full-size bottle anyway. I've been using it for about a year with various brands of shampoo (I change it up between deep moisturizers, anti-dandruff, and clarifying shampoos based on my needs), and my hairdresser always comments on how healthy my hair is and how much she loves touching it because she's not used to such healthy hair!

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Conditioner, Repairing, 10 fl oz: Great product! My hair is very dry and wavy. I use it in the shower, as well as add it to the ends of my hair after towel-drying for extra conditioning. Nothing has ever made my hair so soft and manageable - also leaves my hair smelling wonderful!

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Conditioner, Repairing, 10 fl oz: While I do like the Frizz Ease Shampoo, the conditioner left a lot to be desired. Namely, it made my hair heavy and almost greasy. Might be OK if you use it then shampoo your hair again..
