...I recommend this product for all children, especially school aged children. Anytime my little one (3 years old) gets sick, as soon as I hear a sneeze or cough, I begin with a teaspoon of this. This stuff will KNOCK any sickness/cold right out! If you start giving this to your little one AS SOON as they begin to get sick, in 24 hours all symptoms will be gone (1 teaspoon, twice a day). My daughter seemed to get sick every week in daycare...but since I've added this to her daily vitamin regime, it's down to maybe once every 2 months (in daycare everyday, during cold/flu season). And when she does get sick...its GREATLY reduced in the length of time she is sick and the severity of the sickness. AWESOME STUFF. It tastes HORRIBLE though. I don't know why they would make this a "peppermint" flavor but I just make sure I have orange/apple/fruit juice in hand...so as soon as she swallows her teaspoon, I follow it right up with juice, and that seems to keep her from remembering how bad it actually tastes! Now every time she sneezes she says "mommy, i'm sick I need my brown medicine...but with juice okay!" She already knows the routine!
I use it when kids are not feeling well with a sore throat, fever, cough, etc. -- it boosts their immune system so that they are able to fight the illness without antibiotics. It may be stinky, but it works!! I have a 17 year old that has never needed an antibiotic!! When old enough to swallow pills we change to Wellness formula capsules!!
Use it as directed when a cold or flu is coming on for children!! It boosts their immune system to help their body fight the sickness itself without other drugs or prescriptions. Use it for 2 to 3 days after getting well to keep sickness away!! My son has never been on an antibiotic - just Wellness formula and he is 16 years old now!!

A friend recommended this product. I tried it with my 3 and 1 year olds when they were coming down with colds. I only gave one dose a day. By the next day they were both much better. And by the 3rd day the colds were gone. I've tried it on 2 seperate occasions and it seems to work. It does have a very strong peppermint flavor. My older son is fine with it, but baby is not crazy about it. I follow it with a drink of juice or milk. The price on drugstore.com is much better than the local health store.
