I had to return this twice to Chi because the spring broke. Each time they charged me $15 plus shipping. I bought much cheaper curling irons that have lasted a lot longer. I love the curling iron but I think it is cheaply made. I only use it at most 10 min a day. For the price I would expect much better quality!
