Glasses do tend to get a bit of a white film over time, but I had that problem with other products as we have hard water. After going so long with an eco-friendly unscented product, I find I can now "smell" dishes that have been cleaned with scented alternatives. The dishes don't come out clean, and even the ones that washed clean still have a weird white residue on them that requires another rinsing and scrubbing to get clean. I have used it on two different dishwashers and it left undissolved dishwasher powder on my dishes, and there are also a lot of water marks on them. However, it left a residue on several of my dishes. I tried using JetDry, but that didn't solve the problem. I'll have to switch back to my old dish soap. On the downside, if you handle a tablet, you should rinse the residue off of your hands right away. Also, I can't find this in stores so I have to mail away for it and pay shipping. Best Uses Comments about method Smarty Dish Dishwasher Detergent Tabs, Free of Dyes + Perfumes, 20 ea: I have used the NOT PLUS unscented version of the Method Dishwasher Tabs for years, and I have been very happy. They clean very effectively, are good for the environment (so they say), and I require little or no scent in my cleaning products. This product is NOT anything like those tabs. They are useless, leaving my same dishes with caked on food (whether or not I chose to pre-rinse) and a weird film on anything not glass or ceramic. So go with those, and stay far away from these. Just wish I could get a larger bag in the other version here. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful?
