I use it every time I clean my razor, which I always do when I recharge the battery (about monthly). It is an excellent lubricant. I have used it for over 19 years with excellent results. It is worth the price I paid for it.

When I ran out of an aerosol lubricant from a competing manufacturer, I thought I would try this product by Philips, but the can contained very little lubricant and mostly air. Whatever amount of lubricant was in this Philips product had no effect in lubricating the shaver head. Would not recommend this product and went back to using competitor's.
Turn razor off and unplug from outlet. Remove shaving unit from razor, and brush or blow hair and whiskers away.
Clean the shaving heads by spraying them from a short distance for several seconds. Hold nozzle of cleaning spray about 4" away from shaving unit and spray. Do not spray the razor itself.
