All around bath and shower soap. This is a mild soap great for the family. The bars have been down sized some and it is getting hard to find. Other than that it's still a good value for the money.

Use for showering...skin feels soft and smooth, not dry nor greasy.

Both my husband and I are able to use this bath soap as its mildly clean fresh scent is just that -- CLEAN AND FRESH. It is not overwhelming like the more expensive brands with unnecessary "deordorants" added. I can use this soap, feel wonderfully fresh and clean, and then still use one of my aftershower body lotions if I choose; it does not interfere. Or if I don't want to bother with any lotions, etc., I will still have a nice clean scent but one that won't jump out at anyone screaming, "SMELL ME! I JUST TOOK A SHOWER!" Plus, it is MUCH more economical than those soaps. What more could you ask for your money? It's easy to see why this is one of the classic bath soaps that have sold for decades.

I have been suffering with dry, cracking skin on my hands for almost a year. The dermatologist says I just have "dry skin". Years ago I used Palmolive Soap for Scorisis and it had helped so I decided to use it again along with the moisturizing the doctor recommended. The problem I ran into was finding it in stores. There is no store in my area that has it on the shelf. It seems to be working when I use the soap in conjunction with everything the doctor gave me.

Very disappointed about the reduced size. Seems like every manufacturer is reducing the size instead of raising the prices. It is still inflation via the back door. They aren't fooling anyone. Disappointed in Palmolive for following other corporation's leads. The product is still great and my father is the one I order it for. I guess I need to find a new soap that he will like that I can get locally. Very telling of where our economy is going.

My large family has used the "real" 4oz Palmolive bar for too many years to count. However, we all are sorely disappointed in the "new" 3.2oz bar size. It is just too small for anything more than hand washing. It cannot be gripped effectively in a shower or even in a bath. That's too bad because I like to use Palmolive for all my skin, not just my hands. If Colgate-Palmolive wants to improve their profits by downsizing their products, I fear they will ultimately lose market share and actually hurt their bottom line. My suggestion is that they re-introduce the 4oz bar at a slight price increase. Let the market decide which size bar survives. Maybe both?

I have trouble with allergies, skin dryness, and sensativity. Palmolive has been used for 3 generations in my family and is really wonderful in all aspects.

My local grocery stores stopped carring this a few months ago and so did my local retailers. This was the best place I could fine the palmolive bar soap. My dad loves this soap and was upset when I told him I couldn't find it. He uses it every morning in the shower before work. He likes the way it leaves his skin and that it is non irrating to his skin.

I have used this soap since I was a child and love it. My doctor also said that it is a good mild family soap. I am just glad I can still get it here.
