I have moderate acne, and this product has worked for me for years. It lathers well, removes all oil, and heals and prevents most pimples.

I've used a lot of different skin care products, and most of them have been ineffective. This was one of them. It worked on day one and day two, but after only a week, I could see that I needed to find something better.

I used this product for 2-3 years. I didn't realize it was breaking me out until I stopped using it. Now I use Cetaphil bar soap. It's the best. The Clearsil is too harsh, and dries out your skin so badly. The Cetaphil is PH balanced and is perfect. I wake up now and don't have to worry whether I'll have a bump on my face!!

I think this product helps clear your skin! It does help a little bit, but if you have lots of acne, I dont think it works. On me it worked well.

This is probably good for people without acne. It cleans well, but not much for preventing/treating acne.

Good product! Smells great and deep cleans really well. I don't know if it will clear most people's acne, but it's a wonderful cleanser.

Bad smell, dried out my skin, and hasn't helped my pimples AT ALL! It gets 2 points for washing away dirt and bacteria, but that's all. I will never buy this product again.

THE ONLY ANTI-ACNE CLEANSER THAT EVER WORKED ON MY TEEN-AGE ACNE. The only problem is this company tests on animals. Otherwise, it's the best, won't dry out skin excessively, last forever, smells good, great texture. I have been using it for 10 years, keeps small would-be breakouts from happening.

This is a good cleanser. Cleans your face leaving it dry but not stiff. It feels like it cleans out all of the bad off your face. I do recommend a moisturizer afterwards -- I gave it a 4 because I seem to still have breakouts and sometimes new breakouts form. So I'm just wondering if it's the cleanser that's doing this or the astringent or moisturizer I'm using. Overall, it's a good cleanser - try it.

The actual cleanser has great consistency and leaves skin soft, but unfortunately this did absolutely nothing for my acne.
