I have tried different brands of cotton swabs. There are none better than Q-tips. They don't shred and they are soft. Excellent!

I usually buy from cvs. It was my first time to try drugstore. I love this product.

I've been using Q-Tips for decades and the quality is consistent. I mainly use to dry the nooks and crannies of my outer ears after a shower (not inside the ear canal which is dangerous). If you need a cotton swab, this brand is great. There may be something cheaper but with this brand, the quality is consistent. There are also safety swaps for babies with bigger puffs that I use for my cats' ears as needed.

These are the best. I wouldn't buy any other brand than QTIP.

You wouldn't think a cotton swab would need to be a particular brand, but we learned the hard way. Ouch! Q-tip is the only brand I will purchase as it is gentle on the ear. The generic brands are so skimpy with the cotton that it is like using a hard stick in your ear. Ouch!

Aside from the fact that I think "safety swab" is the most absurd name for a Q-tip ever, was there ever really any doubt that this is the best brand? It's like "Kleenex" versus "tissues": there is a good reason that people say "Q-tip," rather than "cotton swab" in everyday language--they're just the only brand that matters. Important facts about Q-tips: 1) they, as previous reviewers have mentioned, have more cotton at the ends. 2) said cotton tends not to end up stuck to everything other than the Q-tip, as happens with generic brands. 3) MOST IMPORTANTLY: the stick of the Q-tip is FIRM, not folding at the mere sight of an ear canal like every store brand swab does. since most people seem to disobey Q-tip packaging's direct orders NOT to put them in their ears, I figure this information would have been more ubiquitously reviewed. but since it has not been, I'm happy to report that Q-tip brand swabs are up to whatever task, or ear canal, you care to give them.
