These were recommended to me by my dental hygienist when I had my teeth cleaned last month. I have had periodontal problems, with bleeding gums, and pockets between my teeth. I was told that others had been able to build up their gums to stop the bleeding and slow the process of gum recession. We shall see! I hate flossing and rarely do. These plaque removers are easier to use and don't cause the gum swelling I have had with floss. My mouth feels clean and I've already noticed less bleeding when I brush my teeth.

My grandpa used to use these, and they are still around with excellent reviews. These are so much better than a regular toothpick. Plus, my dentist said it is healthy for my gums.

If it's possible to be addicted to something like a toothpick, I like these Stimudent picks. Honestly, they work better than toothpicks, aren't as hard on your gums as toothpicks, fit in your mouth better, tasetegood, and I feel like they are helping me take better care of my teeth.

Last year, my dentist told me I was having major gum troubles, needed deep gum cleaning, and had several infections. I said I wanted to try to clear it up on my own before we tried the deep cleaning, and he recommended using these picks three or four times a day to stimulate my gums, and then checking back with him in two months. I flossed twice a day, used the picks every time I ate, and rinsed with watered-down Listerine at night. By the time I went back, the dentist said my gums were in tip-top shape! No bleeding, no infections. I LOVE these things!

My husband and I have always loved to use Stimudents. They are so perfect for both of us. I have never liked to use toothpicks. Much of it is probably the thought of "picking my teeth", but Stimudents are so less invasive to the gums and keep our oral health great. We have had a very difficult time finding them at our stores in the Indiana. I decided to look online and, presto, there they were. We are both very happy and so are our gums!!!

I have been using this product for many years but recently I have had so many of the removers to break into 3 or 4 pieces and could not continue using them! I had never had this problem until the last 6 months and each time I purchase them it had continued. Any answers??
