These cotton swabs are perfect for medical use, because of multiple reasons. They are sturdier than normal cotton swabs, so you can put more pressure on them while using. They are longer, in order to reach awkward areas with more ease. The end with the actual cotton swab is more dense and a little skinnier than a typical swab, which is good for keeping wounds lint-free and fitting the swab inside open wounds, if needed. These come in a box of 10 packs of 100 swabs, and the paper packs show that they have been sterilized by autoclave (medical sterilization equipment). These are the same as what we see the doctor using when we go for my husband's medical appointments.

I read a previous review in which someone said they also use these to reach the bottom of various cosmetic bottles, which is a good use, too.
