I hadn't used a Pantene hair product in years when I tried this, but it works great! The shampoo is a creamy texture (which I really like), smells awesome, and creates a nice foamy lather on your hair. It cleanses without making the hair feel stripped of moisture. Often I feel like I need to shampoo more than once to get all the hair products out that I use, but I felt like once was enough with this shampoo! Also, I naturally have curly hair, so something that reduces frizz is huge to me, and this delivered. It wasn't so heavy that it ruined my natural curl, and really diffused the frizz. I received a free sample for testing purposes, but my opinion is my own, and I like this so much, I would get it again!

I was selected to review the Pantene Smooth and Sleek shampoo and I gladly accepted. It smells delightful and I'm a fan of argan oil which helps protect my curly hair from frizz and humid weather. After I washed with this shampoo, my hair felt smoother and softer as promised.

Yes, this product does as great shine. However, I found out too late the reason it does is, in fact, because all Pantene products, make your hair shiny is because of a particular ingredient. Wax. I was also treating a dry scalp which was no longer the issue by the time I stopped using this. All flakes were due solely to this product. This is why stylists will not recommend this line. Ask one. Consequently, you must then by a clarifying shampoo. They offer this as well, which does the same thing....therefore defeating the entire point. What a let down.

I don't have to use a flat iron any more after using this shampoo and conditioner. It smoothes thick, straight hair that gets frizzy. It really works. Been using them for 2 years now

I have only been using this shampoo for a week and a half, and already I see results. My hair is now colored, and my regular shampoo that I've loved for years just wasn't giving my hair the moisture it needed. This "medium-thick" shampoo is great - it cleans thoroughly, but without drying out my hair. The only downside is I love fruity-smelling shampoo; this shampoo smells decent, just not fruity...but I think the added shine and moisture make it worth it. Highly recommend this product.
