I been avoiding drugstore shampoo for two years. been salon only. Drugstore shampoo is always harsh! I was super pleased that this left my hair very silky and soft and not heavy. Performs just as well as expensive salon brands! I normally hate pantene for it ruins my hair but this works great and was super gentle! used the matching conditioner

I tried this since I have very fine, color treated hair and Pantene discontinued their former volume formula a couple years ago, which had always worked for me. Unfortunately, this new formula is beyond terrible!!

It made my hair look frizzy, flat, dull, and dried out. It actually made my hair flatter, appear thinner, and increased fly-aways. After 3 months of using this, my hair looks and feels so damaged with tons of split ends, breakage and scalp build up.

With this shampoo, it takes my hair much longer to dry and when it finally does it looks damaged, lifeless, dull, and tangled. I can't imagine this product working for anyone in the long run.

My Hair dresser even noticed the damage/change to my hair, and when I mentioned the Pantene, she said she had many clients who were using the new Pantene formulas with similar negative results. She insisted I avoid it and I recommend everyone else do the same.

Another good Pantene product that isn't high cost. Fancy hair products leave my hair flat. This gives my thin hair body.

When you get your hair colored, it's important to find a reliable and sound shampoo and conditioner that is designed to support the needs of colored hair. Standard shampoos may dry out the hair shaft, resulting in yellowing and or color fading. On the same token, you needn't spend a small fortune to make this happen. Pantene's Pro-V line of shampoos and conditioners do exactly what they should do and yet are also reasonably priced.

Essentially, these products are designed to gently clean, remove debris, yet not dry out the hair shaft nor pull too much of the color prematurely. I have found Pantene does just that, and now with this new line of color preserving shampoos, you can tailor-fit your hair needs while complimenting the color processing you had done. I've been really pleased with it. I've tried other brands, some work pretty good; others are very drying. But Pantene remains reliable, which is why I return to it time and time again.
