This was described as a shampoo which would preserve the color and shine of "colored and highlighted" hair. The first time I used the shampoo I noticed that my highlighted (blonde) hair took on an ashy tone. The second time it was very ashy, and the light brown hair was dull, dull brown. I won't even give this shampoo to a friend who has brown hair because I believe it would probably make her lively brown hair dull. Big mistake to buy this, and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone. Certainly did not protect the color in MY hair! Also, after using it the hair had very, very little body.

I gave up on Pantene years ago. Their products were not worth it to me. They made promises with their products that they were never able to live up to, at least for my hair.
One day I was in a rush & went into a small store to get shampoo & conditioner. The only line they had, Pantene! I was not happy, but I bought them anyway because I didn't have time to go anywhere else.
This stuff is good! I color my hair, so it is dry & I'm getting quite a few wiry gray hairs. With the shampoo alone I could feel my hair become soft, which has never happened before. It doesn't have an overwhelming smell. It's just a nice smell. And my hair looks pretty good, which is the first with a Pantene product. Way to go Pantene! You finally got it right!

leaves my long hair weighed down, doesn't seem to help with color loss.

i love this shampoo. great smell. much better than the old pantene. works great on my colored hair. leaves it soft, very shiny, and healthy.
