These are one of the better Omega3 for kids out there. Omega3's are essential for brain growth and general health and most Americans are deficient - kids included at the age they most need it. DHA and EPA are now included in most formulas but you need supplements for the diet of most American kids.
They taste really good and don't taste like medicine or vitamins (though of course there are not vitamins in these).
The only slight cons here are that they are a bit expensive and two chewables only contain 60mg of DHA/EPA - which isn't much. 3 oz of salmon or sardines 30x that. Still this is better than nothing and we try to make sure daily foods contain omega 3's as well. I would recommend this product.
