After a stress filled year retiring from nursing to care for my mom and then being taken off of HRT, I started losing my hair by the handfuls. I spent so much time trying to cover up the really thin areas especially at my crown. I tried Rogaine, DS Labs and WEN Shampoo plus others with no help at all. Finally I just Googled "Hair Loss" and came up with Biotin. I searched it on Drugstore.com and came up with a ton of products.
I was familiar with Jarrow as a good company and thought at this price, I had nothing to lose. I also purchased the Natures Gate Biotin Shampoo at the same time. Bottom line, it's a miracle! I didn't expect any results for a few months because hair doesn't grow over night but miraculously for me within a month, my balding crown was covered with new hair. It doesn't seem possible but I'm not about to stop it to see what happens. I am so thankful and have already recommended it to friends.

I have been using Biotin for years. My hair is so much thicker, grows super fast and is super strong when I take Biotin.
I have a fried who has Graves Disease, she's also a barber... one year she got super sick and lost all her hair. For over a year she had to wear wigs. I suggested she try Biotin one day.. a month later I saw her and for the first time she had hair growth. She was so thrilled.
It doubles the hair growth monthly(she said)& noq she recommends it to all the guys 'going bald' who come to her for their hair cuts.
Having used Biotin for years, I've tried many brands. I've found Jarrow to be the most effective and cost efficient. Not just their Biotin either, they have a wide variety of supplements and all the ones I've used are highly effective.
Bottom line, Jarrow ROCKS!

I started taking biotin after I lost my hair to chemo. My hair grew back thinner in the crown and on top. When I take biotin regularly, I notice that my nails are smoother, harder, and shinier. I make the assumption that if it is helping me have better nails, it is probably helping my hair as well.

My nails are significantly stronger after taking this product for two plus weeks. I have taken biotin in the past for several years but never this brand at this mg dosage.
