Hair is hard to control without it.

I find that other hairsprays do not hold as well as this one. Many other sprays have a sweet smell that lasts all day. At the end of the day I can run my hands through my hair and shake out the spray and my hair feels like I never put spray in it to begin with.

Vitalis hair spray holds my straight hair in place without making it appear to be "shellacked" like some other men's hair sprays I have tried, or greased like gels and other products.

The new stuff is too sticky. I never want to shellac my hair. Whatever happened to the one they called "The Pump", in the green bottle which they called "natural hold"? That was the best I ever used. After shampooing, towel-drying and combing, one could spray still wet hair. Then comb it and even spray it again... nice all day. Who makes the stuff anyway? Why in the world would they cut out a winning product?

I've been using hair sprays my entire life (I'm 55) and this is the very best by a long shot. It looks entirely natural; it's unscented and, most importantly, holds your hair in place through a hurricane. Sometimes it doesn't pump perfectly but, overall, this stuff is worth gold!

The new version leaves a terrible taste in your mouth if you happen to inhale it and it floats inthe air so it is hard to avoid it. I find it holds better with less spray, but it shoot out in more of a stream than a mist unless you push real hard and fast. Switching the contents to the old bottle hasn't helped somehow. The old version was better overall.

After using the blue pump for years and years I am definitely disappointed in the new black and red bottled VITALIS. To me it smells horrible and doesn't hold like the old blue pump Vitalis. I think Vitalis should go back to the old formula and the blue container.
