Plax may or may not do the things advertised, but it does promote good oral hygiene. Patients who use Plax are more conscious and interested in their oral health. The attractive bottle reminds one of their oral hygiene every time they see it. To me, anything that promotes good oral hygiene habits is a plus. Plax is just one of the components of a responsible oral hygiene regimen.

As a dental professional, I recommend this pre-rinse to all my patients who have trouble with heavy build-up, and I am happy to say that most of the time it makes a huge difference. It softens the plaque and makes it easier to remove it thoroughly by brushing and flossing. Also very helpful in removing deposits on tongue - an area that accumulates large amounts of bacterial plaque and is often overlooked when it comes to oral hygiene.
I only wish the rinse would still be available in the cinnamon flavor, because many people who dislike the mint flavor cannot use it.

Bought this for my boyfriend, he has unsightly plaque buildup on his bottom teeth and this helps loosen and remove it, just need to whiten it up and those teeth would be great

I use this twice a day and my checkups have never been better. Also the mint is not too overpowering. Plax started it all in the plaque removal game and it's still the best.

okay so i remember how great this product was for me back in 2009

when i bought it in my local grocery store for some reason they dont sell it at my local grocery store any more, i had sore gums every time i brushed my teeth but after 3 days of using this product the bleeding stopped and swelling and sorness went away!

also this may be able to soften up tartar buildup behind your teeth

and actually remove it after 2 weeks of use...

thats one secret dentists will never tell you...

(there are alternative safe ways at removing tartar)
