Living in a third floor apartment I was looking for something I could put on my back deck while trying to potty train my new puppy. It's been working like a charm. The artificial grass is the right texture to make her feel like it's OK to go. It's perfect for someone who lives on the 3rd floor and can't run down three flights of stairs to run an "about to pee" puppy outdoors. I looked at similar products and found that this one had the largest area for the price. As she gets older I might invest in a larger one. Haven't cleaned it yet, sure that'll be a nice puddle of puppy pee. Kinda hoping it rains a lot...

Useless, plastic grass does not mimic outdoors. Placed in one area where my dog has accidents indoor and the dog went everywhere around the unit but on it. Even put my dogs urine on it to give it the scent and nothing. Have to throw it out.

Newspaper would have been better. Maybe puppy pads. My dog is 2 year old smart Westie Terrier.

Our elderly dog forgot to let us know she needed to go out and/or was unable to wait until we realized she was waiting to go. She used the system quite often, eliminating puddles on carpeted floor. We placed it near the door where we let her out to relieve herself and she used it spontaneously as needed. Easy to clean outside with garden hose and a bit of a scrub with white vinegar.
