I am also very disappointed with this brand of test and I never would have purchased them had I been aware of such negative reviews ALL OVER the internet. I also tested and got what I believe to be a true false positive. Subsequent tests with other brands have all been negative and I was at a point in my cycle where being pregnant would be very unlikely. Again, it is extremely disappointing to finally see what you had been hoping for only to realize it was completely false. I am also upset that it seems that the manufacturer and/or distributor has yet to address this problem. Finding out whether or not you are pregnant is one of the most important moments in a woman's life (regardless of the hoped for result), so you'd think the company would want to maintain a strong sense of integrity, but this is apparently not the case. I will not be purchasing these tests again and I will definitely not recommend them to anyone else.

I am bitterly disappointed in this pregnancy test. Apparently this test and First Response Early Result (same manufacturer) commonly produce "disappearing positives" (see peeonastick.com), which are the same as negatives. I was one of the unfortunate ones who experienced this infuriating and rather cruel phenomenon. My clear positive began to fade after about ten minutes and disappeared altogether within 90. After recently losing my first pregnancy to miscarriage, the last thing I needed was a false positive on what I thought was supposed to be a reputable product.

I took the test at 11 dpo and got a very, very faint +. So the next morning I took another one and got a slightly darker +. Which was then confirmed by a blood test, so I would highly recommend this product for early detection since it picked up on my pregnancy 4 days before my period was due. :)

This test is a piece of junk! I took one with FMU and got a false +, come to find out by the company the control line was placed twice! So it looked like I had a positive, what a joke! I can't even get my money back. I would not recommend this test to anyone; go with First Response they are the best early detectors! Good luck to all of you!

My pregnancy was confirmed today by my physician; 2 days after my period was due. Over the past three days I have tried numerous pregnancy tests to see which ones worked best. Here is what I found: Answer (recommended) 1st test: 1 day after period due, positive 2nd test: 2 days after period due, positive

A waste of money! This test doesn't even have a cap for the tip you pee on. And forget about testing before a missed period. Read the fine print first; it's not even 99% accurate like the others, it is much lower.

This test is pretty accurate. It gave me a very noticeable positive after 12 days of conception! I like this test and First Response! Good luck to all of you, and if you get negatives keep trying because it will happen for you!

I too received a false positive with this test. I was due for my cycle on a Monday, tested with this on the Sunday before, and got at faint positive. Tested again on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with First Response and AccuClear, and got negatives. Negative was then confirmed by a blood test done on Thursday. Still actively ttc, but will not use this brand again as it got my hopes up.

I found this test to be just as accurate as First Response, but the tip doesn't have a cap to go on it and I think that's a little messy and gross. For that, I think I will stick with First Response. Like First Response, I think these tests are almost too sensitive since they can detect hcg levels so low and have picked up my chemical pregnancies, which can be disappointing and make me think I got a false positive when I didn't. Although they say you can test before you're due for your period, my doctor suggests waiting until you're due to lessen the stress and anxiety, but I'm an impatient person!!

I have tested with Answer against other brands and on two separate occasions received false positives.
