My optometrist recommends taking both Lutein and Bilberry as a preventative for macular degeneration. Few eye vitamins have both, so this is a handy product. However, unless it is on sale, it is pretty expensive, and a bottle lasts only one month. The pills are large and you have to take two a day. Last time it was on sale I bought 8 bottles.
