This shampoo cleans pretty thoroughly! I wanted a shampoo that would help me with my oily hair and found this on sale. My hair felt much lighter after use! But I learned to use this sparingly because turns out my hair needs some products in it or else it won't stay down. Best to alternate it with another shampoo

Great for making your hair feel really clean. I have baby fine hair so I can't use it every day but this shampoo seems to do what it says: clarify. Gets rid of product build up. Follow with a deep conditioner: it's like a Get Out Of Jail Free card for your head. Start fresh! And you can't beat the price.

My teenaged daughter has thick, oily hair. This is the only shampoo that cleans it thoroughly. She uses this shampoo every day. I don't know what we would do without it!

My hair is long and thick. Most shampoos make my hair gunky after a couple of washes. This gets rid of all the gunk. I'm also SUPER-SENSITIVE to smell. I don't find this offensive at all! Cannot stand perfume shampoos. I just want my hair to smell clean...not like flowers or tropical forests! I still throw a little "Finesse" into the mix, but this product is wonderful a few times a week.

I got a sample of a really expensive clarifying shampoo so I was looking for a cheaper alternative. This product was just what I had in mind. It smells very nice. All the comments that say it's strong aren't true. It almost reminds me of an axe shampoo, but it's A LOT less intense smelling. I don't wash my hair everyday so I really wanted something to get rid of built up product and/or grease without stripping my hair. This worked perfectly. I did have to lather, rinse, & repeat once, but after two shampoos my hair was squeaky clean with no residue left in it. I don't think I'd recommend any clarifying shampoo for daily use, but this is definitely a great product I will be repurchasing.

When I got the product I thought I would be getting a sls free shampoo by the ingredients on the site but it wasn't. It smells too perfumy too so I can't use it.

I am old enough to have tried many and varied combinations of shampoos and conditioners over the years, and Suave Daily Clarifying shampoo out-performs them all when it comes to simple deep-cleaning. My hair is baby-fine and long, so it weighs down easily. With Suave, I can trust my hair will be cleaned effectively, not have a build-up of residue, and be rinsed cleanly. The smell? I love it! I won't use other shampoos after I realized what was in them, such as waxes, oils, and harsh chemicals. WIth Suave Daily Clarifying shampoo, I am able to have long, healthy hair. I do condition my hair with Pantene conditioners, as they are the perfect addition to my otherwise squeaky-clean hair. I don't do squeaky; that's not manageable. :)

This is a great value shampoo. I alternate this with my favorite Aveda shampoo to get rid of build-up every few shampoos. For the $$, it is effective at cleaning thoroughly without leaving my hair feeling stripped. The only negative is that the smell is not so great. It's tolerable, but vaguely medicinal in scent.

The Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo works. But, if you have color treated hair this will strip the color if you use it daily (which is why I bought it) as it's high in detergents. I gave it four stars because I don't like the scent, it smells too masculine.
