It did a decent job of detangling and conditioning my hair (which says a lot - my hair is fine and tailbone length). However, it left this weird feeling film on my hair, that's kind of hard to describe, and I've never felt anything like that from any other shampoo or conditioner. I wouldn't not recommend it because of that though, since someone else may not notice or mind it as much as I did, and it may very well be much less noticeable on short hair or thicker hair strands. I also liked the scent. Pert has a unique, somewhat refreshing scent that is nice in the morning shower.
