When I saw that this website had Flex Shampoo an Conditioner I was very happy.I used this back in High School and I loved it back then.But for some reason I thought they stoped making it.The smell is a little strong,but dose not linger after blow drying my hair.

I believe the balsam and protein ingredients are what make this shampoo so great.

I used Flex years ago as a pre-teen and fell in love with the scent. Because I love trying new things, I got away from it. I came across it again while shopping for shampoo and was reminded of what a great budget shampoo this is. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the clean balsam scent...it is addictive, and lingers for a long time. It is gentle enough for me to use on my color-treated hair on a daily basis, and it has once again become a daily staple in my beauty routine.

Whoa. If you can't take strong perfumes, don't get this! While Flex is a great shampoo, this scent is unbearable for me. I can't get use to it. The scent is so strong it gives me a headache everytime I use it. Just imagine if someone dumped a whole bottle of cheap perfume into your bottle of shampoo, that's what this smell's like to me! Maybe the other formula's are better...

When I found Flex at Drugstore.com, I was thrilled to purchase a product I used as a teenager. I remember that it used to leave my hair shiny and smelling wonderful. It was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT to find that the product now, while it does still clean hair (but so would a bar of soap), leaves my hair frizzy and dry, with no shine to it. I am NOT a picky kind of shampoo person - Suave and Vo5 - some of the cheapest products, will work well on my hair and I don't have the problem with the frizz or lack of shine. I think the biggest let-down of all is that Flex DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME SCENT! Now it smells more like cough medicine than a soft summer day, and I'm stuck with a couple of bottles because I was so excited about getting the REAL balsam and protein Flex again.

I used Flex products way back when I was a teenager (I won't say how far back that was) and they always evoked carefree summer days with their fresh scent. I thought they had stopped production. After years of coloring, oil treatments, repair treatments, etc., etc., etc, I'd finally had enough. I cut my hair short and started a search for gentle but effective minimal hair care products that smelled good but weren't over whelming. Voila, I refound Flex. It still smells the same, a light balsam scent and still leaves my hair shiny and healthy. And, as usual, drugstore.com had the best price and availability. Thanks!

This does not strip my hair. Leaves hair soft. I use with the conditioner and love them both. The scent lasts in your hair and I like that. Hair is shiny and healthy after use.

I've used this shampoo since I was a little girl. Nothing gets my hair cleaner. I have full body & easy managability.
