This shampoo does indeed add volume and can't be beat for the price. One should note that the smell is hearty, a wintery, spicy scent. It's full-bodied. Let's put it that way. So if you enjoy light floral fragrances, this might not work for you.

I use Flex Extra Body for quick shampooing in a hurry and for cleaning off other shampoo brands. It smells great, adds some body and rinses clean. It doesn't moisturize enough to keep my hair from sticking straight up however. I would use a conditioner if I were going out after using it.

I had used this for a very long time, then it disappeared. I have tried to find something I was happy with, but nothing could live up to "FLEX" !! I was so HAPPY to find it again, as it is the complete package. I just love it !! Sure hope it stays forever. VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER !!

I shampoo daily so Revlon Flex is perfect for me. Very good for the hair. Smells great.

I still can't believe how cheap this stuff is, mostly because it works so well. Flex leaves my thin, fine, straight hair (treated with non-permanent color) soft, fluffy and shiny.

I used to use this shampoo when I was in high school and college, with great results! (I have thin, "difficult" hair.) People back then would tell me how great my hair smelled, too. Then it became more and more difficult to find. After years of trying other shampoos, including expensive brands, I was not happy with any of them. I finally found Flex here at drugstore.com, and I am THRILLED to have my Balsam & Protein back! My hair still responds very well to it (even 20 years later), and it still smells just as great as it did originally, even if I skip a day washing my hair. My sister and I used this product back in the 70's and I continued to use it until it was no longer available in stores. I am so glad I found it online and I buy in quantity so I never run out. This shampoo and the conditioner make my long straight hair shine and smell awesome. I would hightly recommend this product. It really brings me back to my youth and you can't beat the price.

This is the greatest stuff int he world to use on your dogs. My dogs smell like 'Flex' instead of 'dog' for much, much longer than ANY other conditioner out there! Because of Flex conditioner, I can now bath my dogs every 4 to 7 days instead of every 2 to 3 days. Less baths means less uses of flea and tick repellant which is very costly. Unless they are really dirty, I will use only the Flex conditioner in the bath, and no shampoo, to help maintain the effect of the flea and tick product, which advertises water proof but not shampoo-proof. I used to buy this locally, but can only find it on-line now.

This shampoo is good - but it's counter-part, the conditioner is the bomb! I use it exclusively for my inside dogs. Using the conditioner makes my dogs smell great for much longer that when I use any other conditioner. Their smelling better longer, means less baths for them, less trouble for me, and using less of the expensive flea and tick products that, though water proof are not shampoo proof.
